Morgan Pefley

Professional recruiter, temp practice

Morgan grew up in the Mountains of Spokane Washington with her family and had access to an endless repertoire of activities. Delighted and grateful for those opportunities, she took interest in nearly every hobby set before her; Rodeo, 4h, pottery, debate, soccer, track, figure skating, classical violin.. the list goes on. After participating in such an eclectic variety of tasks, it quickly became apparent that she was gifted at many things and took to learning with ease. This made it possible to dream freely and envision a plethora of different futures within countless occupations.

Being naturally gifted at many things made childhood an endless adventure, but it also came with obstacles. Primarily the difficulties of possessing a highly competitive nature and occasionally an accompanying frustration when she wasn’t great at something new right away. Over time and through personal growth, Morgan has since learned to be flexible when it comes to the impulse to measure by "right" vs "wrong" / "win" vs "lose", and is far more patient in learning new tasks (if she doesn’t master them on the first try that is!)

Morgan always had a particular affinity for horses and the outdoors. She's grateful to have been able to pursue those passions over the many summers spent in Montana with her grandma and extended family (which includes 20+ cousins). She jokingly refers to herself as having been the "weird horse girl" mostly due to her ongoing interest in science, the inner workings of the mind and anatomy, and of course her love of horses - the latter of which, her grandmother taught her how to rope and ride with grace. She still travels back to Montana every 4th of July and Thanksgiving to spend time with family and appreciate the beauty of nature.

Morgan's grandmother is someone who she always admired greatly. Not only had she raised a large and tight-knit family, but instilled within each of them the values of kindness, determination, and connectedness. Her grandma also always went the extra mile for those around her, which inspired Morgan’s biggest passion in life: helping people.

Others would describe Morgan as energetic, competitive, and driven, especially when helping others achieve their goals. When she isn't at work helping people pursue their passions, you might find her hiking, fishing, reading a good book or even watching her favorite movie Top Gun with her dog Maverick (named after the main character). In her life and at work she stays true to her Western roots and fierce determination, by living her life with her favorite motto in mind: “Cowboy Up!”
