Sheila is grateful to have grown up in Sunnyvale. There, her mother, Linda, taught her the meaning of unconditional love and sacrifice. Having been raised by a single mom, she learned the importance of a strong work ethic. At age 12, Sheila got her first job delivering the Mercury Newspaper. At age 14, she worked as a server at Life's Garden (Senior Community), where she learned the meaning of respect, compassion, and loss.
Sheila always knew her #1 goal in life was to help others. Sheila is highly regarded amongst Bay Area Leaders within various industries such as Biopharma, SaaS, Medical devices, Non-Profit, Education, Real Estate, Financial Services, Foundation, Manufacturing, etc. For her resourcefulness in providing Accounting, Finance, and administrative staffing support. Sheila's professional gift is understanding the technical accounting aspect of a job requisition while genuinely connecting with people's hearts.
As Pinpoint Talent’s Head of Client Services, Sheila lives out her dream of helping others daily. Whether it's partnering with a Controller to identify staff coverage for a Senior Accountant needing to go on leave, assisting a Director of Finance by providing a Financial Analyst for a one-month project, providing a Payroll Specialist for interim support, assisting an accounting professional in obtaining a new job opportunity, or advising a client on local market conditions and employee retention. When it comes to staffing, Sheila has a solution and results-oriented mindset.
Sheila's favorite statement is "Clients and Candidates equal our customers." If you ask anyone who has worked with Sheila what they appreciate most about her, they would say that Sheila brings detail and thoroughness to a whole other level. She puts herself in the shoes of others, always keeping both parties' best interests in mind. She enjoys fostering and building one relationship at a time, and values quality, follow-through, mutual respect, and appreciation for those she works with.
Her favorite pastime is being with her nieces and nephews. Sheila actively supports the Tyler's Grace Foundation, a testament to her compassionate and loving heart towards families during the most critical time in the lives of their loved ones. Sheila's favorite movie is The Count of Monte Cristo, a story of perseverance and faith.
